EMDR Therapy on Sunrise

On 13th June 2021, Dr Sarah Schubert was on Channel 7 Weekend Sunrise. Sarah stated, in EMDR Therapy “we identify the experiences that have happened in your life, … to reprocess memories out so that the past can be in the past, and our past life experiences don’t continue to create stress, and anxieties, and triggers in our current life now.” Sarah echoed the current media message from Prince Harry, that: It’s ok to not be ok; Getting help is a sign of courage, not one of weakness; Talk and listen to each other with openness and compassion; help is available”.
